At Una Vision, children learn Spanish naturally while building the language, thinking, social-emotional, physical, creative, cultural, and independence skills they need to thrive.
Our high-quality early learning programs combine nurturing relationships, purposeful play, intentional teaching, individual developmental monitoring, nutritious meals, and strong family partnership.

Spanish is not an occasional class or add-on at Una Vision. It is the primary language used throughout teaching and everyday interaction, helping children connect language with meaningful experiences instead of memorizing isolated words.
Teachers use visual cues, gestures, music, books, repetition, play, and warm relationships to make meaning clear. Children are encouraged—never pressured—to speak when they are ready. Their home language and culture remain an important part of their identity and learning.
Every classroom is grounded in the same commitments to quality, belonging, responsive teaching, and family connection.
Spanish is the primary language used in our classrooms. We use FunShine Express® curriculum adapted for Spanish immersion to support children’s learning through age-appropriate activities, play, and exploration.
Developmental screening is completed within 45 days of enrollment using the Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ). The Work Sampling System by Pearson is used for ongoing, observation-based assessments conducted quarterly.
Learning supports language, cognitive, social-emotional, physical, creative, cultural, and independence development—not only school readiness.
Children are supported according to developmental readiness. Peer modeling builds leadership, confidence, empathy, and meaningful relationships.
Age-appropriate, culturally inclusive meals and snacks follow CACFP and USDA guidelines and are provided at no additional cost.
Families receive daily updates through Lillio, assessment information, conferences, resources, and opportunities to collaborate with teachers.
Children grow at different rates. Teachers adapt experiences to each child’s strengths, interests, developmental level, and readiness while maintaining age-appropriate care and expectations.

Assessment is used to understand and support children—not to compare them. Teachers combine observation, developmental tools, family insight, and portfolio evidence to plan meaningful next steps.
Una Vision uses the Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ) for developmental screening and the Work Sampling System® for ongoing, observation-based assessment. Teachers review children’s language, cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative development and use what they learn to adapt the curriculum.
Results are shared with families, and teachers collaborate with parents or guardians when additional support may be beneficial. The program also works with families and early-intervention professionals when a child has an IFSP or IEP.
Meals are prepared by a ServSafe-certified chef, follow CACFP and USDA guidelines, and reflect cultural relevance whenever possible. Mealtimes also build independence, community, and bilingual conversation. Weekly menus are shared through Lillio.
Families are essential partners in children’s development. Una Vision prioritizes daily updates, photos and reminders through Lillio, regular developmental information, formal conferences, resources, and respectful two-way communication.
